Abstract

The present paper makes an analysis of the short narration “Decision in the Trapeze”, written by the author on the occasion of the life and work of Franz Kafka. Herewith the reader is invited to recognize in the application of the phenomenological approach of the “Reflective Analysis” a conceptual tool of importance in the achievement of a better understanding of the relationships between art and philosophy. Solitude, skepticism and obviously “the relationship with the other,” are recurring topics both in literature and in Husserl phenomenology. For this reason, an analysis is proposed starting from a literary narration.
